“Gioventu chiama Europa”

Scopul proiectului:
"Gioventù chiama Europa" is a simulation of the European Parliament that wants young participants to provide with a better understanding of the inner working of the EU as they build skills as decision makers, encouraging their partcipation in public life and facilitating the achievement of their potential as active and responsible European citizens.
The main purpose of the project is the simulation of the EU's decision-making process, centred on co-decision process between the European Parliament and the Council of the EU. The participants will take part in a conference in Taormina (Italy, 3-8 November 2011) where they will play the roles of members of the European Parliament to enact an EU recommendation on media literacy according to the proposal of the Commission (applicant).
